• The 16H is a feature-rich measurement instrument designed for optimal performance and user convenience. It boasts a 16″ (400mm) vertical screen, providing an excellent viewing experience, and supports both erect and reversed profile images. The high-resolution ground glass screen is equipped with a calibration reticle, 90-degree cross lines, and chart clips for enhanced precision and ease of use. Additionally, the machined chart ring includes a vernier protractor with 1-minute graduation, facilitating accurate alignments.
• Optically, the 16H features coated telecentric parfocal optics, ensuring clear and consistent imaging across various applications. The quick change single lens mount adds to the instrument’s versatility, allowing for swift adjustments as needed. Fiber optic surface illumination is integrated into the design, providing excellent visibility, while an integrated hood reduces glare and enhances the overall viewing experience.
• The stage of the 16H is constructed from solid cast iron and is nickel-plated for durability, operating on 3-axis solid rail crossed roller bearings for smooth and precise movement. The stage also features twin universal dovetails and measures 18″ x 5″ (457mm x 127mm) overall. With a 10″ (250mm) X-axis travel and a 6″ (150mm) Y-axis travel, the stage accommodates vertical movement or rise and fall, supporting up to 150 lbs of capacity.
• The stage adjustment includes a ±15 degree true parfocal helix stage adjustment with a 5-minute vernier, ensuring optimal positioning and alignment. The 16H also comes with a NIST traceable calibration certificate, guaranteeing that it meets national standards and provides reliable and accurate results.
