The Benchmark 14H stands as an Erect Image benchtop comparator, further broadening our diverse product portfolio. This novel comparator maintains the high-quality attributes consistent with our existing product range, featuring an erect projection image and our “ultra-precision” crossed roller bearing stage system, all within a more compact design. The measurement scales are meticulously designed to eliminate backlash and are centrally positioned in the stage travel, ensuring optimal measurement precision. Additionally, we offer an optional LED surface illumination with an extended lifespan, showcasing yet another innovative solution from Dorsey.

The 14HE benchtop comparator is Dorsey Metrology's basic and most economical comparator with the same high quality features as the other comparators in our product line, but in a smaller package at a lower price. The addition of our extra long-life LED surface illumination is another Dorsey innovation.

This highly adaptable measurement tool boasts a sturdy cast granite composite base paired with our reliable cast iron "ultra precision" stage system. The comparator is readily equipped with integrated fiber optic surface illumination as a standard feature. Its measurement scales, positioned centrally in the travel range, are designed to eliminate backlash, ensuring precise readings. With a range of readout options available, this instrument stands out as one of the most precise and flexible horizontal benchtop comparators on the market.

This dynamic vertical optical system is the first of its kind manufactured in the USA. This system allows a much greater stage capacity up to 50 pounds (15 lbs in the center of the glass plate) with optional stage travel up to 16" x 8".
